Job applicants
Measure the AI skills of job applicants
A CV says someone is "comfortable with AI". A short test shows how that candidate checks an AI answer, what they do and do not paste into an AI tool, and how they phrase a request. On request we set up such a test for your vacancy.
Short answer
Yes, you can test job applicants' AI skills with AISkillProof. On request we build a test with scenarios from the role. Every candidate gets the same questions, the result is one input to your decision, and a person decides.
What the test measures in a candidate
- Judgment: does the candidate spot an error or made-up fact in an AI answer?
- Safe use: which customer or staff data does not belong in an AI tool?
- Prompting: can the candidate give a clear request with context and goal?
- Working with your company's tools, such as Copilot, ChatGPT or Gemini.
Fair testing
- Every candidate for the same role gets the same test, regardless of age, background or gender.
- The candidate knows in advance that they will take a test and what the result is for.
- The result is one input next to the interview and experience. A person makes the decision.
- The questions are about the role, not theory learned by heart.
How it works
1. Discuss the role
You tell us which role it is, which AI tools the new colleague will use and what level you expect.
2. Set up the test
We assemble the test from existing questions and custom scenarios, and you approve it.
3. Results per skill
After the test you see per skill where the candidate is strong and what they still need to learn, so you know what training to plan after hiring.
Frequently asked questions
Can I test AI skills during recruitment?
Yes. On request we set up a test with scenarios from the role. The candidate takes it in English, Dutch or French.
Can a test be part of the selection?
A test that is about the role and the same for every candidate is a common selection tool. Inform the candidate in advance and let a person decide. For legal advice on your procedure, consult a lawyer.
Does the candidate need to install anything?
No. The test runs in the browser, on a computer or smartphone.
Can the test use our own AI tools?
Yes. As with a custom test for employees, we build scenarios with the tools the new colleague will use.
What happens to the results after hiring?
You know where the new colleague stands, so you can assign the right lessons straight away and retest later, just like the rest of the team.
