Custom tests

A custom AI test for your tools and your work

A general test shows whether someone uses AI safely and well. A custom test shows whether your people do so in their own work, with the AI tools they actually use. We build the scenarios with you, and your employees take the test on the same platform.

Short answer

A custom test measures AISkillProof's six AI skills with situations from your company and your own tools, such as Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, ChatGPT, Gemini or Claude. You help shape the content and approve the questions before the test goes live.

With the AI tools you actually use

We only measure what employees can use in their work. If every team uses something different, or nothing fixed yet, we build a test that works with any AI assistant.

  • Microsoft 365 Copilot in Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams
  • Copilot Studio and your own agents
  • ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude, including shared assistants
  • AI features in your own software, such as CRM or accounting
  • Your internal AI policy or usage guideline

What we tailor

Scenarios from your work

Following up a quote, answering a complaint, checking a figures report: the situations come from your work, with fictional data.

A level per group

Level 1 for people who rarely use AI, level 2 for regular use, level 3 for people who manage AI ways of working themselves. Each department can get a different level.

Your own rules

If your policy says which data may not go into an AI tool, the test checks exactly those agreements.

Three languages

Every test exists in English, Dutch and French, so everyone answers in their own language and the report brings it all together.

How it works

  1. 1. Intake

You fill in a short intake form: target group, tools, level and up to three situations from daily work.

  2. 2. Proposal

We go through it together and draw up a proposal with content, level, languages and planning.

  3. 3. Build and review

We write the questions and scenarios. You approve them before the test goes live.

  4. 4. Testing and report

Employees take the test on the platform. You get results per skill and per department, and can retest later.

Example of a custom question

A fictional interior design company uses Copilot in Outlook. This is what a scenario for the inside sales team looks like.

You ask Copilot to summarise a 14-page quote for a customer who wants to decide tomorrow. The summary says "delivery within 3 weeks". The quote itself says "delivery time to be confirmed after measuring".

What do you do?

  • A. You send the summary: Copilot has read the quote.
  • B. You correct the delivery sentence to match the quote, and only then send it.
  • C. You ask Copilot whether the delivery time is right and send it if it says yes.
  • D. You send the quote without a summary.

B is the strongest answer. D is safe, but the customer misses the summary they asked for. A and C trust the tool with a promise that can cost the company money.

This question measures judgment of AI output: spotting a believable error before it reaches a customer.

For job applicants too

Want to know how a candidate works with AI before you hire them? On request we set up a test for applicants, with the same questions for every candidate.

Frequently asked questions

How does this differ from the standard tests?

The standard tests cover situations found in any office. A custom test uses your tools, your tasks and your rules. Both measure the same six skills and appear in the same report.

Do we need to supply real customer data or documents?

No. You describe situations in your own words, anonymised or fictional. We turn them into realistic exercises. Do not send real personal data or confidential documents.

Which AI tools can a custom test cover?

Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and AI features in your own software. If the team has no fixed tool, we build a tool-independent test.

Can we see the questions before the test goes live?

Yes. You approve the questions and scenarios before employees receive them.

Does this help with the AI Act?

A first measurement, a targeted learning path and a second measurement show which measures you took for your employees' AI literacy. The law does not require a measurement, but such a report is clear evidence of what you did.

What does a custom test cost?

That depends on the number of scenarios, levels and languages. You receive a proposal after the intake conversation.

Already know what you want? Fill in the intake

The intake form asks about the group, AI tools, level and situations from your daily work, for employees or job applicants. That keeps the intake meeting short and the proposal quick.
